COVID-19 Vaccination Information

COVID-19 vaccines will be available at our Medical Practice.

Good Street Medical Centre is pleased to advise that we are an approved vaccination provider for the COVID-19 vaccines. We are happy to help provide COVID-19 immunisation for our local area and wider community.

Vaccine allocation?

Vaccine rollout start for 1B phase will be mid to late April 2021.  For the first 1 – 2 months, we will receive 50 doses of the vaccine per week, this number will gradually increase over time.

Am I eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine?

To find out when you are eligible to receive the vaccine please use the link below, the Covid-19 Vaccine Eligibility Checker:

https://covid-vaccine.healthdirect.gov.au/eligibility

and complete the COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility Checker.  This will tell you which phase of the rollout you are in.   We are participating in Phase 1B.

Can I choose which vaccine I receive?

No, the government allocates our centre with an approved vaccine.

How do I book my COVID-19 vaccination appointment?

When it is your turn to get vaccinated, you can call us on 02 8825 8233 to book your appointment to receive the first dose of your vaccination.  We can book your second vaccination, which is three months after your first, in with us at the same time that you receive your first dose.

Flu vaccines?

You can still have your 2021 flu vaccination, as long as it is 14 days before or after your COVID vaccination.  Covid-19 and flu vaccinations can not be given at the same time.
